Pacific Propulsion Aussie Project - Day 9 - "Moving Day"

Today we had 15-18 people (I didn't count) come to our old office (Eva's house) and help us move 3 desks, 3 shelves, a file cabinet and small wooden cupboard.  It doesn't sound like a big deal, but everything was either covered over with boxes, or had materials filling the shelves.  It took over 2 hours to load up the truck, and it was very hot and sweaty :-(  It sure helped having everyone there!  It was supposed to rain, but God held it off until after we finished moving the stuff.
We had great help even though it was hot & dusty!

On our way to new office (I'm in truck with the furniture etc.)
We drove everything to our new office (even though I hadn't been given the keys yet).  All the furniture fit and we piled all the materials in various places - we still have to clean the shelves before put everything away.  I'll show you a picture later.

Afterwards, we went up the street to a chicken fast food and got snacks and drinks (we all were very thirsty).

Just as we were leaving, the rain started coming down and before we got back to our guest house, it was coming down hard!  Everyone in the back got drenched (I was in the cab because I was an old person).  At first they tried to hide under umbrellas, but the wind was too great.  Eventually they gave in and "enjoyed" the ride.  Actually they enjoyed the end because it was over and it was a shared adventure!  They gave a lot to help us, and we're extremely grateful!
It started to rain just as we were leaving.

I started to come down HARD!
Arriving back to our guest house all soaked

It is now a great shared memory for them!
